The week is flying by so I want to remind everyone that we have a vocabulary quiz on Unit 1A tomorrow. Students should be studying with the list posted on TEAMS last week.

We complete our first unit (review from last year) and we are ready for new material! We start unit 1a next week. Look for a new class calendar on Tuesday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

This week we focused on reviewing material from last year and we began to create game board games with questions to review Spanish concepts from 6th grade. We will finish the games in time to play them next Friday!
Students have calendars in their binders to keep up with homework and other class activities.

The week has flown by!
We have been getting oriented and preparing for a great year in Spanish class. Students received their workbooks to keep at home and bring in the pages as they are assigned for homework. We will begin reviewing next week and students should expect homework twice a week. We will also have online text to work with - those will be set up next week. Have a great weekend!
As far as supplies, for Spanish you will need the basic pencil, paper and a section in your binder for handouts and other class materials. I have a vocabulary notebook for you that you will keep in the classroom. The unique item for Spanish is a pair of headphones. If you can get a cheap pair to keep in your backpack, you'll be all set. These should not be expensive or favorites - keep those at home. Dollar stores sell earbuds so inexpensively you may want to get a back up pair in case you lose or break yours. Any time we have an activity with listening, you will be expected to have your headphones. (Without them, you would have to mute your device.)
You will need to have your headphones by Friday, August 11 We will begin to use computers, so be sure to turn in your technology permission form as soon as possible. Your homeroom teacher will collect those.
